Dear Aspirant,
With immense pleasure, I would like to introduce VIVA Institute of Technology (VIT)
to you.
Choosing the right education program is one of the most important decisions
of your life. You have to be sure that you opt for the best and the latest.
In last two decades, our economy has witnessed positive momentum in many sectors
such as financial, Information Technology, Retail, and Telecom among others. For
instance with IT boom, Indian Job market saw a tremendous change. Our Government’s
economic policies on various fronts are evolving with time in order to meet growth
targets. Moreover, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is being encouraged in the emerging
sectors of the economy.Consequently, qualified and well-trained people will always
be in demand. And so, a wide choice of careers such as engineering, architect, management
among others will always be available with you.
Since, everyday there is a challenge of resource scarcity and itsmobility;it calls
for everyone to play a managerial role, which I am sure most of us are undertaking
in a way or other. As our institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai,
we
are conducting 2 year full-time Master of Management Studies (MMS)
course, which
spread across four semesters. We add zestto the curriculum through classroom sessions
in adopting appropriate teachingmethodology so as to impart domain-specific knowledge.
At the same time, our students are being encouraged to participate in intercollegiate
events. I am very happy to put on record that our students of
VIVA Institute of Technology, and VIVA Institute of Management Studies
have brought laurels by winning
the ‘FIRST’ and ‘Runners up’
Trophies respectively, at “Idea Generation” contest at
“COGENCY 2011”, an intercollegiate event of ALLANA Institute of Management Studies
and Research, Mumbai. Wherein the participating colleges had to illustrate an idea
of a startup firm besides capital investment, operation plan, sales and marketing,
expansion and return on investment. This is particularly noteworthy as the said
event’s judging panel consisted of lawyer, chartered accountant, an entrepreneur,
a banker, a marketing consultant, a visual merchandiser, and a newspaper editor.
Our Students, Mr. Dhanesh Thakkar got 2nd Prize in the category of ‘Overall Winners’ and Mr. Bhavesh Sampat was among ‘Daily Winners’ category, at the “DALAL STREET”
contest of coveted Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) University.
This
is a virtual stock market game which emphasizes on developing your skills in stock
market. Also, provide you experience in trading livestock in Indian market.
At VIT, our ambitious framework is to deliver quality management education to students

economic environment. Withstudent’s involvement in corporate interactions and events,
