Abstract

The CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) evaluation is used to discover the parameter within the car industry. This evaluation is used to apprehend the gasoline consumption, balance of the car and passenger comfort. The air flow over the car is analysed and coefficient of drag is calculated using CFD Software ANSYS Fluent. For this calculation, A frame (simplified automobile frame) as a car is taken into consideration. Two separate instances were solved for Two special cases of deflector which are rectangular and curved and outcomesare compared. The effect of change in cases of deflector changes the drag. This will be executed through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) numerical simulation technology The results are present in the form of drag coefficient value and flow field which include velocity contour and turbulent kinetic contour.
